Privacy
This page lists the tools this site uses and what each one collects, in plain words.
Google Analytics (GA4)
Counts visits and shows how people use the site, such as which pages and booking steps they reach and which ad or link brought them here. It sets cookies on your device and sees your device and browser type and your approximate location. It is controlled by the Analytics switch in Cookie settings. It only runs on the live site, and only while Analytics is on. Analytics starts on; you can turn it off any time in Cookie settings.
Microsoft Clarity
Records how people move around the site, such as taps, scrolling and where they get stuck, so we can fix confusing spots. It sets cookies on your device. It is controlled by the same Analytics switch. It only runs on the live site, and only while Analytics is on. Analytics starts on; you can turn it off any time in Cookie settings.
Ads
The Ads switch in Cookie settings tells Google's tags whether they may use your visit for ads. There are no ad tags on the site yet, so for now it changes nothing you can see.
Our booking database (Cloudflare)
When you use the booking form, what you type is saved in our own database on Cloudflare: your name, phone number, email if you give one, address, gate code if you give one (kept only with a booking you send), notes, the package and time you pick, and how you found us (for example the link or ad you came from). It is used to run your booking. If you start the form and leave before sending it, we may still keep what you entered so Josh can follow up. Where you came from (the link or ad you clicked) is saved with a booking request in this database either way. The type of device you use (phone, tablet or computer) is also saved with a booking request. None of this depends on the cookie switches. Your cookie choice is saved with it, and when Analytics is on, so is the Google Analytics id of your browser, so a booking can be matched to the visit that led to it.
Google Maps (address suggestions)
When you type in the street address box, the text you type goes through our own server to Google Maps Platform, which suggests matching addresses. When you pick one, Google sends back the full address and its county. Google does not receive your name, phone number or email from us. Google's privacy policy covers what it receives. To stop one visitor from using up the day's lookups, our server counts lookups per visitor under a scrambled code made from your network address; the counts are deleted the next day.
Our own step count (Cloudflare)
We keep a count of which booking steps people reach, so we can see where the form is confusing. It holds no name, phone number, email or address, but each step carries the same random id as that use of the booking form, so it can be matched to a booking or an unfinished form. It does not depend on the cookie switches.
Saved in your browser
Your browser keeps where you came from (the link or site that brought you here) on your device for up to 90 days, so we can tell which link led to a booking. It also keeps your cookie choice, and the last picks you made in the booking form (vehicle, package, add-ons and time, never anything you type). These are kept on your device whatever the cookie switches say.
Cloudflare Turnstile (spam check)
When you open the booking form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the booking. It looks at signals from your browser and device and sees your IP address. Most people never see it; sometimes it asks for one tap. It does not depend on the cookie switches. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers what it receives.
Resend (booking emails)
Resend sends our booking emails. It receives the email address, the message and the booking details needed to write it.
Stripe (later)
Not in use yet. When we start taking card payments, Stripe will receive what it needs to process the payment, such as your name, email and card details.
Twilio (later)
Not in use yet. When we start sending booking texts, Twilio will receive your phone number and the text message.
